Privacy and local storage

In this release, the calculator runs in your browser. It does not send measurements to a project database. Save on this device writes version 2 projects under coatpath-project-v2. Older version 1 saves, downloads and links are upgraded in memory without changing their dimensions or default results. The original browser save is retained until you delete saved projects; deletion removes both versions.

Shared and downloaded projects

Project links encode measurements and room names in the URL fragment. Anyone who receives the link can read them. Browser history, clipboard tools and browser extensions may retain the link. Downloaded JSON files contain the same project data.

Hosting

The hosting provider receives ordinary connection information when a page is requested. Access is determined by the host’s sharing settings. A noindex instruction is not password protection. This application has no active analytics, ad script or application cookie. Optional analytics hooks emit event names locally but send nothing externally.

Before public launch

This notice must be completed with the operator identity, contact details, applicable retention practices and any enabled services. Advertising and analytics require a fresh privacy and consent review before activation.

Construction estimate generator data

Draft construction estimates are saved under coatpath-estimate-v1 only when you select Save on this device. One-time calculator transfers use browser session storage. Generated PDFs are created in the browser and are not uploaded to CoatPath. Use Delete saved draft in the estimate generator, or clear site storage, to remove saved drafts. Imported or shared customer details remain your responsibility. No advertising or analytics code is active in this package.
